Jerez-Privattest: Lowes vor Marini und Alex Márquez

Das Marc VDS-Team, Gresini Racing (Moto2 und Moto3), Dynavolt Intact GP, Kiefer Racing, SKY VR46 (Moto2 und Moto3), Estrella Galicia 0,0 Honda (Moto3), Italtrans, Speed-up, Idemitsu und CIP Green Power absolvierten in den vergangenen zwei Tagen einen Privattest in Jerez, bevor auf der spanischen Strecke die offiziellen IRTA-Testfahren anstehen (20. bis 22. Februar).

Die Bestzeit fuhr Sam Lowes (Gresini) in 1:41:578 min: Damit unterbot er zwar die schnellste Zeit des ersten Testtages von Luca Marini, an die Bestzeit des IRTA-Tests im November (1:41,524 min) kam er aber knapp nicht heran – damals war ebenfalls der Sky-VR46-Fahrer ganz vorne gelegen. Am heutigen Dienstag landete der Italiener in Jerez auf Platz 2, gefolgt von Alex Márquez (Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS).

Der Schweizer Tom Lüthi, der am Montag noch die drittschnellste Rundenzeit gefahren war, kam am zweiten Tag auf Rang 7. In der kombinierten Liste blieb es bei Platz 4. Sein IntactGP-Teamkollege, Marcel Schrötter, verbesserte seine persönliche Bestzeit zwar leicht, in der Zeitenliste rutschte er aber auf Platz 9 zurück. Lukas Tulovic (Kiefer Racing) schob sich am Dienstag auf 11 nach vorne (gesamt 12).

Der schnellste Moto3-Pilot war wieder Gabriel Rodrigo (Gresini), diesmal vor Sergio Garcia (Estrella Galicia 0,0) und Celestino Vietti (Sky VR46).
